Ever wanted to learn the secret to creating sharp looking 3D eCovers? Thanks to my favorite Free eCover Creator site (see it here), my easily generated ecovers now look as good as if they were created by professional designers.
Not only does that site save me time and money, it gives me great pride in my work too. If you have been looking for a free ecover creator, just check out the link above or click on the banner you see on this page. It is free to use, but I am an upgraded member (it’s cheap and worth every penny) because that gives me even more awesome ecover options.
Naturally I assumed eCovers were created using photoshop and the closest I ever came to creating one in photoshop was trying to copy paste a new image
over an old eCover in hopes to get my new image to somehow resemble the looks and feel of an eBook eCover.
Needless to say – it turned out terribly!
PhotoShop is not something I am any good at and wasting hours upon hours on it to try and create something that looks terrible afterwards is nothing short of frustrating. As a result, I almost always ended up hiring someone to make my eCovers for me. I hate outsourcing simple stuff like this though – especially when I am in a hurry and want to get things done NOW. I am sure you can relate!
Most good designer guys and girls are generally backed up for days with often times easy tasks like “I just need a simple eCover created”. Besides paying them huge chunks of cash for a simple task, what can you do but wait for them to get around to creating your eCover for you?
Simple. Create your own ebook ecovers using a free ecover generator: Click Here to check out the site I use!
I came across it by almost sheer coincidence and immediately tried it out and liked what I was seeing. I could not help but also upgrade (it is less than $10 per month) to create a few designs that were not available for free.
All in all, I was very happy with the ecover creator website and was glad it was not yet another piece of software cluttering my desktop (I remember once trying an expensive but terrible ecover generating software).
If you are in a hurry to get an ecover or if you simply are not happy with the ones you had designed by your designer, why don’t you save yourself some money, time, and frustration by creating them yourself?
Again, some of the basic designs are free so check it out:
